About the Norwegian Animal Protection Fund
The Norwegian Animal Protection Alliance (NAPA) is a leading national charity for animals. The Norwegian Animal Protection Fund is our fund for research. The aim of the fund is to support research of high scientific quality that promotes the interests of animals.
The Norwegian Animal Protection Fund supports research at all levels, including basic and applied applied research. In addition the fund can fund literature studies and practical development. Projects within the life sciences as well as the social sciences can apply for funds.
The Norwegian Animal Protection Fund places significant importance on ethical methodology, and no projects receiving support from the fund may cause suffering or death to animals.
Applications must fulfil the fund's criteria (only available in Norwegian at the moment).
For 2011 NOK 250.000,- will be made available. Applications are welcome by 1st September 2010.
